I
hope you are having a fantastic
summer. With kids out of school,
the weather absolutely
beautiful, and extended daylight
in the evenings, summer is
always a great time.
Excellence.
Greatness. Passion. What are you
pursuing each and everyday of your
life? Maybe your purpose is:

great parent by offering your
children the gift of your time
- To give
back to your community
through charitable activities
- To do
well in school, in sports, or
the game of life
- To
develop a product to
revolutionize your industry
- To
inspire greatness everyday in
clients, co-workers, family, and
friends
- To
create IMPACT physically,
mentally, emotionally, and
spiritually for the people whose
lives you touch
I
believe
it's important to be dedicated
to a meaningful purpose in
life, and to live it everyday.
But experience has taught me
that a life purpose isn't so
clear to everyone. Some of you
might be confused about
exactly what you want to do.
Or, maybe your work doesn't
align with your interests.
Maybe you feel like you
haven't had the right
opportunities yet. Or, maybe
you haven't created the right
opportunities for
yourself...yet. Whatever
your purpose is or will be in
life, I know you are meant to
search for it. And once you find
it... embrace it and live it to
the max!
Each of us was created
with unique gifts, but it isn't
always immediately obvious what
our gifts are. That's why we
call life a journey... a journey
to discover the truth about our
gifts and ourselves. Once we
find them, we're meant to share
them with others. And that's a
life purpose worth our
dedication. So get out there,
discover your gifts and use them
everyday to IMPACT those around
you. When you do, you truly will

| Expansion Update! |
THE KEYS HAVE
BEEN TURNED OVER and
construction plans are in
the works!
For those of you
that are fairly new with Team Fit,
I want to first say welcome
aboard! It is a delight and
privilege that you are here with
us and I hope our programs and
trainers are exactly what you were
looking for. Where motivation,
accountability and results are all
what members expect and what TF
delivers!
I have talked quite a bit in
the last few month about
investment vs. expense. I
recently told you my definition of
investment:
Any
product, program {expansion},
or service that will
ultimately enhance the quality
of your physical and mental
energy, and the quality of
your thinking. One that
directly relates to an overall
improvement in your
well-being.
Last month, it was
with great pleasure that expansion
contracts were executed at our
Chesterfield location. This added
1,500 square foot expansion
"investment" will begin on or
about August 1st of this year and
will continue through September
14th. This investment will make
way for added room in programs, a
variety of program offerings, a
new foyer and an ample storage
area. It is truly a honor that we
even had this opportunity to make
happen at this time ~ we have only
been at this Chesterfield "home
base" since January 2011. WTF
Team Fit!
With a busy summer
upon us, I just want to assure you
that the current Summer session will
not be interrupted or
affected. I will keep you
informed step by step throughout
the renovation stages and as we
plan our "Re-Grand Opening
Gathering" next month.

Self-Defense Saturdays |
|
Join
us every
fourth Saturday
Sept.-Nov. from
2:00-4:00pm @ Team Fit,
Chesterfield to learn
practical techniques
for defending in real-life
situations. While
these are not martial arts
courses, the methods are
based on martial arts
techniques.
Instructors
practice self-defense techniques
and construct circumstances
during class for students to
practice the learned techniques.
Clients are also encouraged to
discuss situations and
circumstances that they are concerned
about so that instructors may
broaden the scope of
learning. You will
walk away having a better
understanding of how to
safely defend yourself against
a larger,
stronger person. Our goal is to
replace feelings of helplessness
with the knowledge of leverage. You
will leave each course with
more and more confidence and
information to protect
yourself with environmental,
behavioral, verbal,
physical and mental abuse.

It is
a privilege to introduce you to
Todd Limback. Todd is a
certified trainer that
specializes in sport
conditioning and agility
training that clients really
benefit from. Todd will be
introducing his "Men's Fitness
Camp" this fall. Join Todd at

Zumba
Fitness w/ Jennifer |
WOW, summer
session is almost over and the
fall will begin but let's not
get too ahead of ourselves!
There are still some VERY
EXCITING summer events
happening...
We have
2 more Zumba at the Beach
events coming up at Walter
and Mary Burke Park in New
Baltimore. We apologize for
canceling the July event,
but we didn't want to risk
the heat danger. We will
be back again on August 27th
at 9am! Join Jodi, Lindsay
and Jennifer for a jam
packed 2 hour refreshing
workout to start the day.

Marmitte on AUGUST 27th at
Lakeview High School in
Saint Clair Shores. Mo
Diakite (featured in the Zumba
instructor training videos,
the "instructor" in the
original 'zumba he zumba ha'

convention) and Ricardo
Marmitte (featured in the
Zumba Fitness dvds EXHILARATE,
popular Zumba Education
Specialist (ZES aka instructor
trainer) and a master
presenter at the Zumba
instructor convention) will be
here to host an hour and a
half master class for us!
These guys are amazing and so
fun, you really don't want to
miss it! Be prepared to shake
it, drop it and move it like
you never have before.

WILL sell out, so don't wait

presenters will stick around

do not have to be a master

participate. A master class
is a class taught to you by
master presenters!

EASY
POACHED EGGS & PASTA
DINNER
Yes, I
have to admit, this recipe is
a little "different", but it
is so good and a takes
literally 15 minutes to
prepare.
The
still-runny egg yolk adds a
creaminess to the sauce and
perfectly mixes with the
spinach.
INGREDIENTS
2 servings (1 1/3 c) whole
wheat pasta (any shape)
1 c organic/homemade marinara
sauce (If you want to spruce
up the jarred sauce, add a 1/2
t oregano and a pinch of red
pepper flakes.)
2 eggs (or can use
Egg-Beaters/All-Whites)
4 c fresh spinach (I sometimes
swap fresh or frozen broccoli,
asparagus or sliced zucchini)
DIRECTIONS
Place a pot of water on the
stove to boil. Measure out
your pasta and set aside.
Pour the sauce into a small
skillet and turn heat to
medium-low. When sauce starts
to bubble, carefully crack
eggs onto the top. Cover and
cook until eggs have reached
the desired doneness (you want
the yolks to be runny; some
carryover cooking will occur).
Meanwhile add the spinach to
the pasta just before you
drain it. Stir and drain well.
Divide pasta and spinach
between two bowls. Top with
one egg and half the sauce. If
I have it on hand, I add a
dollop (1/2 ounce) of goat
cheese or a sprinkle of
Parmesan.
